Today is Wednesday 22nd of February 2012
We are very happy to begin our journey of healing with all of you. This marks the first issue of vthealing.com. With this e-zine we want to support the healing community in Vermont. The beauty of this State is the reason some have come here and a big reason why all of us stay. This beauty nurtures us and our heatlh. With this new e-zine we want to bring together the vast healing community that calls Vermont their home. The concept of vthealing.com is one that supports the idea of a green and more healthy world, by only publishing via the web and not with printed copy. Both the idea that this is fast becoming the most popular way for individuals to search for services of the healing community and that by doing this, we show that we not only are in support of a healthy person, but a healthy planet as well.
This e-zine will give health providers the ability to write articles, advertise their businesses, promote their events and reach a vast audience of web visitors who are looking to find their services. The e-zine is also going to offer a one page, individualized web page that you can use to extensively advertise your services. This is extremely cost effective for a provider that does not have a website and does not want to undertake the task of building a site right now. This specialized page is also a great way to increase your visiblity, even if you already have your own web site.
This e-zine will also strive to be a great source of information on health and healing, for people who live in or around Vermont and people who visit our lovely State. With the many holistic health professionals in Vermont, we feel we have a great source of material that is just waiting to be submitted by professionals and read by our readers. If there is any health or healing professional who whould like to be considered for submitting an article, please contact us at articles@vthealing.com. We are looking forward to the articles that we will get from the talented professionals that live in this State.
In the making of this, the web based only, Vermont Healing e-zine, we wanted to also give you something to touch, per se'. This is were the creation and nurturing of The "Vermont Healing Festival", would be a foundation of our existence. This festival gives us a chance to create a beautiful day of healing, that will bring the heart of this e-zine to life. This festival is in it's infancy, as is our e-zine. We will grow both to continue to support the healing arts community and the people of vermont that are interested in learning more about them. There now will be a venue for local partitioners and teachers to either give out information about their healing practice or supply services, during the festival. Local artisans will also have an opportunity to do the same.
This gathering of healing, creates a perfect physical companion for this web based venue, this e-zine. While this e-zine recipercates, by being a way for the healing festival to live online. It gives the vendors and people of Vermont a way that they can continue to interact, even after the festival is over. This interaction will be through articles, advertisements, classifieds and a some other unique ways we have planned. We will continue to add to this e-zine as time goes on. Always raising it's value, to it's readers and adveristers. And of course, The "Vermont Healing Festival" will continue to grow in the same way, as we continue to learn in this beautiful journey of healing, we all begin, today.
This first edition of vthealing.com is a smaller, more introductory issue. It's main purpose is to announce itself and our first "Vermont Healing Festival". The e-zine will continue to grow and next month will mark it's first full issue. In this same month, The "Vermont Healing Festival" makes it's debut on Saturday April 10, 2010 at the "West Rutland Town Hall Theater" in West Rutland, Vermont. We are looking forward to seeing all of you at the first of many festivals and of course here, at vthealing.com.

Gordon Goes is a Reiki Master and Reiki Drum Healer, at ‘Reiki Drummer’, of Killington, VT. The services that he provides include all of the traditional reiki sessions, animal reiki, long distance reiki for people, animals and situations, and reiki drumming. Reiki drumming is an intense form of reiki, which uses the drum beat to carry and intensify the reiki in a healing session.
Reiki drum sessions are combined with traditional reiki methods when a healing session is performed. Powerful guided ‘Reiki Drum Journey’ mediations are also available for individuals and groups. This is a moving mediation experience. Gordon received his training from the originator of ‘Reiki Drumming’, Michael Arthur Baird, of Sedona, AZ. Gordon has played drums and percussion for various bands, including currently playing in the band "Supply & Demand". He has played on several albums including one called 'Somewhereville', with "Bow Thayer and The Euphorians", which along with the band, was nominated for the 2001 Boston Music Awards. During this professional playing is where Gordon felt pure mediation while drumming. Gordon states, “When you play the beat as the universe guides you to, you must first stop trying to play and just enjoy the ride”. This meditative state of drumming is a natural place to intergrate reiki.
Gordon offers high quality classes for Reiki, Reiki Drumming and Drumming / Percussion lessons. The training sessions and meditaion drum journeys are available for individuals, groups or corporate retreats. For more information or to schedule sessions, journeys or training, visit them on the web at reikidrummer.com, or Gordon at (802)342-3324.
Gordon is also a business executive, software developer & web expert. He and his wife own a local web company that you can find more information about at 2goes.com. They are beginning to specialize in holistic site work. With their years of experience and passion for computers and holistic services, it makes them a perfect fit for this type of website work. They build sites that conform to current web standards and in turn give you a high return on investment. This is one of the most important aspects of current web design and development, yet a majority of web firms do not build their sites to these high standards and the site owner suffers. They can deliver first class sites to holistic service providers, so they can get noticed and the local holistic industry can get more visibility on the web. Give them a call at (802)776-8355, if you need a new site or you need your site to start working for you.
